We are busy at LVFR, many teams working on different projects, and one of them is KBWI Baltimore, being worked by Ian. This is WIP at this moment many details are still needed, among the most noticable are jetways. More news in the coming weeks!
While I really like the product, LVFR needs to go back and do some terrain smoothing. The bumps at this field are terrible. Hoping they can get that resolved soon.
Can you confirm that “auto tune” will work with your mod for ILS approaches using current aau1 versions of popular fms systems like in Longitude and CJ4? Thanks! I’ll buy this if this can be confirmed. There are apparently formatting issues with many ad on airports.
Can anyone confirm whether LatinVFR has properly smoothed the BWI runways and taxiways? I’d love to have this, as it’s my nearest larger airport. But reading here and on their own forums, it sounds like they’ve struggled to get this right. Thanks!
I just bought this in one of the Marketplace sales a few weeks ago, having spent over a month fixing this airport in the World Hub. Looks nice, but in the base sim (the World Hub version I worked on), every single taxiway sign at the airport has been altered to match their real-world counterparts, using many reference photographs and videos. Every sign has the same formatting and says the same thing as in the real world, and every double-sided taxiway sign in the real world is a double-sided taxiway sign in the base airport. In the payware LVFR airport, I don’t think there are any double-sided signs. It bothers me that LVFR’s signs are not as accurate as the ones in the base sim. If I could do this work for free in the World Hub, I don’t know why a payware developer couldn’t do the same thing.
(This is true for other payware airports, too. I’m only mentioning it now because I just got this addon.)
