Launching the SIM takes at least 10-15 minutes

Have you disabled/removed all your mods and add-ons?

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Quit the sim and do a fresh restart. The startup splash screen with the image with the blue Diamond DA62 over (Tonga?) stays on screen for probably 10 minutes.

I did a complete reinstall. I mean EVERYTHING. I even deleted all my user data. Everything runs so dang smooth now. I haven’t gotten a single black screen or CTD and I did all this immediately after making this post; so, a few weeks ago.

I highly recommend starting fresh if you have a couple hundred packages installed and have had the sim installed for a couple years. No doubt, some bloat has built up even if you are on Xbox (probably especially so).
