Microsoft Store

Are you using Developer Mode or made changes in it?
Yes, but not made any changes in it.

Brief description of the issue:
When leaning the engine in the C-172, the EGT does not rise as it should. Haven’t tested the other piston airplanes yet, but I suspect they share the same issue.

Suggested improvement:
When leaning piston engines, you should get a “rough” engine when going beyond peak EGT. This happens in real life and makes leaning much easier and quicker.

Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue:

As far as I remember it has been there since release

Note that the update reset all assistance options to “easy”, so auto mixture is likely on unless you have turned it back off. This might interfere with manual mixture adjustments.

No, I’m aware of the assistance options and these are turned off. This leaning issue has been a problem since release even though it’s been improved. It’s still not where it should be. In real life as soon as you start leaning heavily, EGT rises rapidly up to peak EGT where it will start to decrease again. This is not simulated properly. Anyone else can confirm this?

You might want to change where it says you first experienced the issue in sim update 7 to say “at original release”.
