It’s a nice quote. Only problem it’s fake, no proof of it’s existence in any historical documents.

MSFS has the Darkstar and Pelican. Both those are fictional as well, but there they are.
Not saying I’m personally interesting in DaVinci’s theoretical helicopter any more than those 2 fake craft, but there’s no reason it couldn’t be done.

I’m not against some fantasy elements in the sim! It’s just a misquote, Leonardo never wrote this sentence, all I’m saying. 
Asobo used this misquote it in the latest trailer, a nice video worth watching.
