ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue:
Unless you want to taxi through the grass all the way around the runways to the backside of RWY 18 or RWY 36, you are guaranteed an Aviator Performance penalty. Images and video below tell the story.
- For testing, I did one flight out of RWY 18 and one out of RWY 36 because I was lucky enough to have a mission for both on the same day.
- For RWY 18, I followed the arrows and got the penalty
- For RWY 36, I went bouncing through the grass all the way around the runway, then snuck barely onto the threshold into the box. No penalty that way, but seriously, that’s silly.
ICAO, coordinates, or specific location:
Flight plan was Cargo - Light from LFLA to LFKA for the RWY 18 penalty. Flight plan was Cargo - Light from LFLA to EDTF for the RWY 36 penalty-free off-roading adventure.

REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
- Load Cargo - Light and find mission starting at LFLA
- Get up and running, announce taxi to RWY 18 for takeoff
- Taxi to visible Hold Short Line on ground, but note the guidance arrows are leading onto the runway and all the way north to the end of RWY 18
- Look at EFB to be sure you’re in the right place and notice the game has drawn the blue Hold Short Point box at the north end of RWY 18 instead of at the painted HSL on the ground.
- Try to taxi following the arrows on the ground, which lead onto the runway
- Get nailed by Aviator Performance penalty for entering without announcing.
