I am thinking about a little upgrade of my cpu.
This are my currents specs:
I7 5820K at stock speed, because of im testing. I had it @4.3 GHz but u get a lot of blue screens.
From Windows.
48gb of ram
My GPU is a , Nvidia GeForce GTX 2070 SUPER.
Also at stock speed.
Mostly of the settings are at high OR medium.
Rendering at 100 With 3440*1440.
Any anser is helpfull
Stock voltage? Try OC’ing and keeping voltage within the range of safe voltages, but increased a bit maybe?

Thanks for the post.
In my bios i have the standard overclock settings.
Just a default that i can choose, the voltage and speed are auto set.
@4.3 is the the highest
Just like a preset

Im with @Sabena321140 on this, don’t use default presets, overclock it ourself, those CPU’s you can get 4.6+, assuming your temps and motherboard are reasonable.

Temp is not an issue, have a be quit! Cooler.
And i not see any problems in the past with the temp.
This is my motherboard :Gigabyte GA-X99-UD4.
Any ideas about core voltage and combination of GHz??
