Ok. No news really. But I’m a bit tired of graphic limitations (or programming) beeing a part of FS2020 making it a tad more unrealistic. I find that the lighting in the cabin is off (often too bright, and blinds in case they exist hardly changes the brightness in the cabin).
Also - there are brighter lines around the body of the aircraft, like an outline. What else? How the plane looks in the sky, especially when its cloudy (read: darker) or rain etc - a plane just dont look like that.
Then we have the “good old” transparency problem, where elements of the aircraft (or the whole aircraft) is too clear, too crisp.
Not sure if its something to do with my settings (which all are on HIGH, exept for som vector stuff thats on ULTRA). Any ideas if I can make these “issues” look better? 2560X1440 is my nat. res. (no scaling)
I’ll post some images on Imgur for ya:

Hey there, @BoxiestAbyss920. This has been a common concern for some over the past couple of years. Many folks use programs like Rashade or Nvidia GeForce Experience filters (or AMD equivalent) to adjust their monitors for a more pleasing brightness in their simulators. This isn’t optimal, but it does solve the problem in most cases for now. Give it a try.

Hello!
Seems like there nuch much happening regarding this. Not sure if Reshade or the filters in GFE (which i had used to get rid of that yellowish cast) can help, since the lighting is a problem in areas inside the aircraft, and outside..well not sure it that help to get rid of lines around objects etc? I started to think there might be something with my settings.

I use GFE filters and am pleased with how it has improved brightness and color balance for my MSFS experience. Of course, YMMV with things like this.
Yes, its good for what it is. But what Im looking for is the devs having a look at how light etc affect inside the cabin. Its just too bright as it is now. But NCP is good for correcting casts etc, setting contrast.. (per game, should be said). But unfortunately - you loose the settings when updating to latest version of the drivers..

If you take a look over at Nvidia’s forums, you’ll observe the steady hue and cry about this single issue. Seems a no brainer that they implement a way to save filter settings, but… perhaps, and hopefully, soon.
Setting your monitor’s settings to their default and then using NVCP or Adrenaline for fine adjustments should be optimal but of course there is also a question of quality. My wife uses two 24" 1080p monitors for home office, one is an Eizo and the other BenQ, you would just not believe the difference between them was possible.
I can only guess. =) Im on a common “gaming” IPS-screen: LG27GL83a. A bit on the matte sida, but ok for gaming. A bit of ghosting all around but I works. But Im not sure its the screen. Hm… Is FS running in som sort of HDR mode maybe? HDR is turned off in Windows (since the screen mentioned above cant give the correct amount of brightness to fullfull the demands for real HDR). But is there som other kind of brightness-setting in som .cfg file you could change?
