I think the default airports are actually better in MSFS 2024, but at night, they don’t look as good. Adding basic lighting to the default airports would be perfect, and I think the entire community would appreciate it.

Definitely agree. The taxi lights are just awful in 2024. Looks like something from the Avatar movie. Please reduce their size and make them more like 2020 lights.

The night lighting is very poor and that sepia mask problem from early versions of FS2020 is in FS2024. It’s odd that Asobo couldn’t start with the same quality of night lighting as FS2020, then work on improving it.

Simply AWFUL taxi lights, visible from 50 miles away! I wonder how Asobo and beta testers did not realize about that and urge Asobo to change this quickly!!!

I agree with the size part of the comment, but for me the nightlighting is far better then the hardly any lights at the msfs2020 airports tbh.
If the size reduction also means the brightness reduction of esp the blue taxilane lights offcouse. I flew over ODBM Dubai international a couple of weeks ago (real life) and i was pointing out the airport to my neighbour in the plane and he couldnt even make out if it was the aiport until he recognised the terminal buildings from 6000ft up. That dark was it at 3:00 clock. On the ground, the green , red and yellow (taxisigning) lights were very visible, but the blue was soft toned

Do you mean aprons at default airports being pitch dark at night? It has been flagged numerous times to no avail.
