List of Aircraft with Visible Co-Pilot from Cockpit View

On reflection, I could add a UNKNOWN sheet with the same columns as the main sheet, dump them all in there and remove the known ones so far… it would at least get us some way.

Added that sheet now. So, over to you to fill the 231 entries  :stuck_out_tongue:

(I will try and get the ones from Hobbs App into it as well. We can move them over to sheet 1 when rows are complete)

Just to clarify. They are not NEGATIVES. They are unknown until we know.

for the copilot pmdg family it is no longer kept up to date, I brought it back to life with

All of the Cowan Helicopters have the Cowan copilot modeled inside the aircraft.

Airbus H125/AS350 (if you click the copilots headphones they change to a helicopter pilots helmet. Only found on this model)

MD 500e
Bell 206b3 JetRanger
Bell 206L LongRanger
Bell 222B

Just don’t switch to the copilot view when they are seated. It’s terrifying! :joy: :scream:

to not have the avatar on the location where we are, I solved this problem with this No Avatar pour Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS

I was flying the H125 yesterday and pretty sure I clicked the headphones and nothing happened… will need to try it again unless I missed a step.

I mean I had no Co-pilot whatever I tried.

And yep that image has mentally disturbed me!

Haha. This is like the opposite of the list rules lol. I like your style!!!

Is for any aircraft?

yes, it’s for all aircraft, it’s like if you choose an empty avatar, however you won’t see it in external view either

Cool I will add it to the sheet tomorrow, thanks (I’m in bed now heheh).

But there is an option in MSFS settings to have “None”, right? And does your mod there also work with custom “built in to the model” avatars? I assume not. Just want to make sure I write description for it accurately

Thanks Nico. And for your other contributions. Will add them all in!!

by default in the simulation? I have not seen

So I should delete the ones I have linked on Sheet 2 already?

I don’t know, I don’t have a model with their own avatar, you have to try

this last update dates from November 4, 2022 for version 3.0.44 therefore no longer compatible with the current version

Yes it’s only the copilot that you can click on their head once they’re “seated” via the weight and balance menu (H125/350 only it seems).

For the CowanSims helis, The Pilot remains the Asobo default or whatever selection you make. It’s only the copilot that is rendered when looking around the cockpit. Pilot seat is still empty. The 222B is the only Cowan that doesn’t have a custom rendered copilot. The 222B shows whichever Asobo Copilot is selected.

I am still not 100% sure about this. Is this correct? Thanks!

Is this list being maintained? The GotFriends and FlyingIron avatars don’t appear?

Hi! Actually I have not looked at it for some time. The idea is that it is a community driven thing as I don’t (and never will) know all the information personally.

Looking at the Google Sheet now, I see there are some entries that have been added (anyone is free to edit that document), such as the Sierra C24R as one recent example.

Do you know of any facts to add in?

Did you see there is a 2nd “tab” at the bottom for AVATARS? That lists all the products available to add to libraries of avatar characters available in sim. But I am not sure what you mean about Flying Iron? They do not have a pack available that works in OTHER aircraft I think?

Are there any specific aircraft you want to know the answer to?

Anyway, I will take another look at it and see if I can fill it out any further but as I say, it is really down to people commenting here with discoveries that I can add, or just adding it themselves.
