Little Navmap development software version opinions please, not the Stable Version

HI there, What do you guys think about the Little NavMap Development version? not the stable version.
Any information is greatly appreciated. TIA

I’d be trying it if I knew where to get it. The latest version updated a few days ago to 2.6.19

I don’t see an option to try a development version, but I would if given the opportunity.

Hi , Thanks for the reply…You could get it here at this link.Releases · albar965/littlenavmap · GitHub

Hi there, No I’m not the developer…

Downloaded and it requested to reload the scenery library. Did so, and was slightly surprised to see I had a few issues with some of the popular airports I use. KSFO, KORD, EGLL, EHAM, and my hometown KMSY. Not sure how to deal with that, but I can google and figure it out.

I took a short 100nm daily flight for FSHub from LLRD to HEGR, Israel to Egypt along the Gaza Strip with a little detour over Jerusalem for some variety in elevation. Created the flight plan in LNM and exported it to MSFS without any issue. Navigated using VOR info from lnm rather than gps. Flew my current favorite, the Cessna 310R twin.

I didn’t notice a huge difference with the development LNM over what I had been using. I felt there were some small visual differences, but I would need to compare them side by side to detail any difference. The elevation profiles all seemed correct, though it took a few minutes to change from block terrain to greater detail in the elevation changes. As in blocks to slopes.

Overall the program was stable for me on this short easy first run. I’ll continue to use it and would mention here if I notice anything noteworthy. If there is something specific you would like me to try, I’d be happy to give it a shot.

Hi thanks for testing it and giving me the results… Thanks again…

It’s great to see the new SinBrief integration:

You now can download your SimBrief flight plan directly into LNM and you can upload your LNM flight plan to SimBrief!
