I create Pln’s in LittleNavMap and then load them into the Sim. The first waypoint always takes me to the far north of the globe, hundreds, if not more, miles away from the plan. It has no bearing on the Pln created, and I can’t get rid of it. It doesn’t matter if the plans are VFR or IFR, it still does the same.
Any help/advice welcome.
Scenery Library → Load Scenery Library …
Then click on “Load”
Takes a while, but then LNM knows which waypoints the MSFS knows.
I agree with what EnsiFerrum666 says. Additionally, as long as you’re exporting the plan in FS2020 format, you should be good to go. I use Little NavMap plans all the time without the issue you’re reporting.
Thanks, but that is loaded and up to date.
This pic shows what happens in the globe in the sim. This was just a local flight in the UK.
LNM isn’t the problem.
Thanks. Please see my answer to EnsiFerrum666
Are you using Navigraph AIRAC?
I know what you mean - I now routinely delete the first waypoint (USR01) as it seems to be pointing you from parking to the runway even though you might be starting on the runway. The confuses the autopilot which will try to fly you back to the airfield! I haven’t raised it as a problem because I though it might be a LNM anomaly wuth MSFS, but it should be raised. By the way, I’m not using Navigraph AIRAC - this is switched off in LNM.
Tried with it on, off, and for Navaids and procedures only. Same result.
I have been making flight plans in LNM and exporting them into the sim and get the same behaviour. What works for me to fix it is:
-to build the plan using the runway as a departure point in LNM
-export plan to sim
-load the plan
-zoom into departure airport on sim planning page and select a gate/parking spot, this should fix the plan
-click on flying button after reviewing the plan
Thanks for the reply. I tried that but it still won’t get rid of it. So now I’m doing things in reverse. Planning in the sim and saving the plan to use in LNM. So far so good.
I think I’m going to have reinstall the sim to see if that gets rid of it.
