Live ADSB Traffic details displayed too high altitude & speed

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

In free flight mode, when live air traffic is displayed, hovering over a real aircraft the altitude and speed are shown incorrectly. Many aircraft are shown as flying at >100kft - pretty unlikely!

I suspect that the source data is given in feet (e.g. 30kft) but is incorrectly assumed to be in metres, and so multiplied by 3.280 and then declared to be feet.

Same or similar issue with the speed - speeds dsiplayed as 800kts+ are too fast.

Once gameplay starts having selected one of these aircraft, the flight is at a sensible altitude and speed.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

When you click on a Live Traffic aircraft on the Free Flight map, the displayed altitude/speed is incorrect. The altitude is converted to feet twice. For example, ‘35000 ft’ is displayed as ‘114829.40’ (35000 x 3.280839895). The speed is also incorrect.

I don’t know if this is new to SU4.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Always

REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. Make sure ‘Units of Measurement’ is set to U.S. System or Hybrid

  2. Go to Free Flight

  3. Click on a Live Traffic aircraft icon

  4. Check displayed altitude/speed

In the World Map, Air Traffic flight information displays incorrect information in context.
The Altitude and Speed fields display non-contextual units of measurement.

The speed field displays “kn”; at first glance, it should be “km/h.”
