Incredibly disappointing that it’s not even “bug logged” yet. UK flying is out the window until this is fixed. Or are we just being made to wait until 2024 is released?
Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
YES

Metar reporting 3 layers: Few clouds at a height of 1300 ft Scattered clouds at a height of 2400 ft Broken clouds at a height of 3500 ft
There is no way this is even close to being 3 cloud layers as reported.
Are you physically located in the UK? There is some evidence that this bug depends on where you are located in the world and which local MS servers you connect to. I am in the US northeast. I just spawned at EGBB and have the clouds and rain indicated in the METAR.
A similar thing happened in a test I did last week at EGPP where the METAR indicated a solid overcast. UK-based MSFS users would either get no clouds at all, or any clouds that were there initially would quickly evaporate leaving clear skies or only scattered clouds. I had solid overcast for a full hour.
Yep, I live in the UK about 30 mins from EGBB. I tried again at 13:30 roughly and there were still no clouds. Thanks for checking. Must be something to do with physical location as you suggest.
Can confirm EGBB is bugged. I’m located in Germany, and I only observed these issues in UK/Ireland. Continental Europe is reasonable every time I check/fly.

Weather is completely off. We are having rain, thunderstorms, and covered skies over LEMD, and the sim just show a little of mist.
This should be a nightmare for pilots, not a calm day for scenic flying.

Months on since the intiial report and this bug still is happening. Also I’ve noticed over recent weeks it doesn’t just affect UK/Ireland as first thought, I’ve observed it in Spain a lot as well.
Right now I observed it in LEMD airport, when I loaded in it was overcast and cloudy with higher cloud also like there should be. But by 18:09z the cloud had faded away to blue skies with only some cloud left on the horizon. The same injection data loop bug we saw in the UK and Ireland.

I got this all time in MSFS2020, I try to add with mods in SW Europe the rain/clouds/wind when it is missing or “suddenly unexpected clears up”, last three months is been raining moderate in my area.
One moment you got clouds, than they are gone.
I look just outside where I sit: how this can happen? And again this “miracle”…
Certainly I have to admit that I fly over the Pacific Coast from USA regularly, things are by far more consistent.
It is rather strange that kind of a behavioral, like going out of runaway and where I am supposed to go out(C160), I got pointing 2 airbus against each other(KLAS), well take the next one further out.
Should be overcast, light rain. Nothing even close to METAR. I actually landed with tailwind even though winds were supposed to be coming from the north. In sim pressure was 1018 when metar showed 1013
