Brief description of the issue:

In options, I have live weather set to on. However, when loading in the sim, the live weather is turned off and I have to turn it on each time. This just started about 1 week or less ago. Internet connection is fine and all other online functions are working fine.

Screenshots not needed as they can only show Live weather option turned on in settings/options, and off when loading a flight by clicking the time/weather button when in sim.

Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue:

1.33.8.0 - although it started just before the latest city update and after the last sim update. For those who fly the Fenix A320, it was noticed the same day Fenix 1.5 was released, but I have this issue in all aircraft. Just listing the Fenix as a time frame for when the issue started.

Have you tried to set weather to “Live Weather” before loading a flight ?. The next start should use the last weather setup you used.

Yes. I have live weather turned on in setting/options, and verified in the planning page. But once in the sim, it reverts to “live weather off” and I have to turn it on using the cloud icon (time/weather settings)

To be sure, you’re clicking Flight Conditions in the upper right corner and ensuring that Live Weather is selected there before clicking “Fly”?

I never change mine from live weather, but I’ve noticed several times recently it’ll switch to the clear preset. I don’t usually check it before loading the flight because I never change it, but the sim does keep changing mine. I’m guessing it’s when it does it’s false “connection lost” stuff.

Same issue for me. All I get are clear skies, even though live weather is selected. This started one week ago. I tried deleting all my add-ons from the community folder but it was of no use. As per some YouTube solutions, I started the game as administrator, then chose clear skies as preset, and then tried to switch to live weather once the game was loaded, but it was still of no use. I have turned the online data function off and on and restarted the sim but of no use. Ultimately, I uninstalled the game and reinstalled the whole 130 or so GB again, patiently waiting for two days, but still of no use. Live weather is not being loaded and I’m helpless. Someone give a solution.

To clarify, my problem isn’t the same as the one above. Mine keeps switching to clear skies by default on its own, but I can switch it back to live weather without any problem.
