Liveries for parked aircrafts

Hello friends. Is it possible to have random company liveries on parked aircraft in airports. I have a livery for my own airplane, but no other planes are painted, except of course the default colours of MSFS. Thanks for your replies.

If you’re on PC, there are multiple options that do what you want. Are you on PC or XBOX?

The topic is tagged “steam” so I assume PC (also click on the user’s name to see platform). I think the options you are referring to are located at the bottom of the traffic settings page.

There appears to be some sort of bug with the liveries changing on some planes at different LOD levels but I haven’t reported that yet.

Edit - there has already been a bug reported for it which I just contributed to:

Ground Aircraft that are parked on the ground are always random. The sim takes it off your library of installed aircraft and liveries that are set with the flag isAirTraffic=1.

The easiest way to populate your airport using aircraft model and liveries is to use AI Manager – Alpha India Group (alpha-india.net). When you run this tool you will have access to an online repository of aircraft models and liveries. The tool will disable the default generic pointy nose aircraft model and plain liveries. And you can pick which airline you want to have. The more airline models you install, the more variety in your ground aircraft that you will see when they’re randomly picked and populated.

Make sure you have set your Ground Aircraft Slider to full 100, and the Traffic Variety setting to Ultra. And you should be able to see multiple different airline liveries populated randomly to all airports.

On the plus side, if you use moving Real Live Traffic, any matching airline code for that traffic and aircraft type will use the one installed from the AIG AI Manager. So you will always see proper traffic moving around.
