Liveries look awful

Liveries (well, some of them) look really strange. See the picture included. If I zoom really close to the aircraft, they look OK. But after zooming out or going to the cockpit and coming back, they look again are messed up like this.

What the problem might be? Any solutions?

give us some more context please. Is this a general problem or has it started with the new update? Does it only occur with the King Air or with all planes? Does it happen only with custom liveries or also with stock liveries?

some custom liveries are not so good.

Some of the custom liveries, at least with KA and G36, seems to have this problem. And they had it already before the last update.

Of course I can delete liveries that wont work as they should, but I would like to be sure if the liveries really are behind this.

have you raised the issues with the dev’s who made the liveries and asked whether they noticed the same problems with them?

If it only happens with custom liveries, and not even all of them, I’m out of ideas.

No reason to be so aggressive. Did I say that Asobo is responsible for this? I just wanted to ask from fellow simmers if someone would know a solution. That is something we do all the time. Are you OK with that?

What’s your Object LOD setting? It looks like the sim is downgrading the aircraft model to a lower detail which breaks the texture mapping.

It is true, the Object LOD was really low. I was amazed to see that. Liveries look much better now (no wonder), but the problem with the letters is still there.
