My uncle owned a Cessna 140 and I’d love to fly one (Aeroplane Heaven) in MSFS with a livery that matches his. Attached is a black and white picture of his and a picture of what he says the colors were.

I turn to the community to find out how you convert PNG.DDS files? With what software?
I use XnConvert and GIMP. With GIMP I export as .png
When I use fspackagestool.exe my files are not converted!
An idea ?

I never requested a livery, because it feels a bit weird for me to ask others to work, just to make myself enjoy the sim more. However, now, I found that a pretty important livery is missing, at least on flightsim.to, and I couldn’t find it anywhere else either.
I’d like to request this livery for the Asobo Pilatus Porter PC-6.
It’s not just a random livery, it’s actually quite a special one.
During the Swiss Dhaulagiri Himalaya Expedition the PC-6 made the world record of the highest landing of a fixed wing aircraft. After a landing accident on May 5, 1960, HB-FAN has been left there on an altitude of 5200m - where it rest until today.
As mentioned: I’d imagine other users might enjoy this livery as well. Otherwise I wouldn’t request it.

Has anyone seen a US Department of State livery that has been made for MSFS? It’s like the inverse of the United Airlines battleship grey livery. I would love DC-6 and CRJ variants (if someone was willing to tackle this), and in general I’m curious if anyone has seen this for any airframe. Thanks!

I am looking for someone to help create the Grimes Flying Lab Beech 18. I want to build a sim-pit for the museum that owns and operates it. My father worked for Grimes which was the first company to put lights on airplanes. They finally got bought by Honeywell. The plane has modified wing pods and belly pod with over 100 exterior lights. Grimes used it as a sales tool and test bed in the 60s-70s. It also made the transcontinental flight to the Paris Airshow in 1975.

Unfortunately, I have no idea, skills or experience in repainting MSFS planes, but there are many here who do, and hopeful;l;y someone will be kind enough to do your own plane’s personal livery for you - both inside and out ..

I woudl assume since you have purchased a RL C172 Steam gauge plane, you have thge Asobo c172 Steam model wity the Premium package. ?
Keep an eye out on Just-Flight over the next few days for the launch of the WB-SIM C172 “Near study level” MOD.
You will appreciate the high level of simulation of the systems, which you may find appropriate for study and practice.
Note: If you are still receiving instruction for a CFI, and are currently working towards your PPL or Instrument rating, I would advise you to check with your CFI, before basing too much emphasize on training or participating with MSFS , even with the WB-SIM C172 “Near Study level” Mod.
That being said, in the last few months, while helping to develop this Mod, I have learn so much more of the C172’s system, with the mod, that i ever learnt in over 25 years of flying the C172 in RL ..
The “Speedster” special edition paint scheme would be great for the G36 and newly released V35 Bonanza.

I have tried the various programs but just don’t get it. I need a livery for my 737 and the Neo A320 in my VA livery. I have the livery for both aircraft in my XPlane 11 simulator so am able to provide screenshots. Is anyone able to create a livery for me and if so what screenshot angles would be required.
