ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
With latest beta SU2 .18 , MSFS2024 does not fully load, but instead freezes at 79%

Every time sim loads.

• Exact same issue. Locks up at 79% with an empty Community folder.

I have a 3080 with the driver that just released Monday (2 days ago). Driver is 576.52. CPU is i9 12900k and 32 GB of RAM.

I had Developer mode activated but only for the FPS counter.

Just a little more information.

I have been able to successfully launch the simulator since this post, but only about 1 in 8 attempts or so. I can’t put my finger on why it eventually launches. Currently, I can’t get it to launch though, and I’ve just uninstalled and reinstalled the simulator. I have an empty Community folder and even attempted to launch the sim in Safe Mode. It will not launch. It freezes at 79% every single time.

Why is this happening? I completed a flight last night with no problems and now, the audio starts skipping and then the sim stops loading at 79%… I’m not even in the Beta!

UPDATE: I managed to get the sim to load but then once I was going through start-up procedures, the audio started skipping again and the sim appears to freeze. OMG.
