Updated steam and down loaded the update.
Twice now, after installing the update, I have tried to load a flight, to no avail, the sim stalls at about 75%.
The sim loads quickly and I can use the world map, select my aircraft and airport. Click on FLY and as I said stalls at around 75% loaded.
Walked away on two occasions , one for an hour and seventeen minutes and the other for just over an hour and still stalled.
Maybe it’s because everyone is on their sim but, others are not having this issue.
I have nothing in the Community folder so it is just bare bones.

Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 1TB
Try the usual.
Remove anything in your community folder and uninstall any MSStore purchased addons.
Then delete rolling cache.
That may help.

I thankyou so much for your time and suggestions but, to no avail, even went onto steam and verified game files which deleted my log book, goodbye 2000+ hours.
Nothing worked, however, I don’t seem to be alone as a post in the general discussion titled “Loading time, long time” shows people suffering the same issue, so it might be a bug for some, only guessing at that.
Once again you have been more than generous with your time and suggestions, many thanks.

Noticed this in the top right corner. There is nothing else I know of that is being downloaded.
Any theories from anybody gratefully accepted.
In the meantime it’s off to have a coffee.
Once (if) those downloads complete, go into the marketplace and see if the WUpdate is there as a free install.
Also, if all goes well, go to the content manager, there are updates there to install as well.
