Loading Screen Music Intermittently Plays With Music Set To 0%

During the first portion of startup, the user audio settings are not respected by the app.

1. Set music volume to zero.

2. Re-launch the game.

3. Observe the soundtrack playing during loading, ignoring user settings.

Sound setting music not working

To be honest with you - i don’t like the MSFS2024 music theme at all. And i don’t need music in a flight sim. For this case - i think - the developers gave us users the possiblity to set the music volume setting to “0” (ZERO). Why in the world you are playing the odd theme at the start of the game? I know you could - so what stays - you wouldn’t? Any reason for this?

FWIW I personally very much like the theme and think the composition is great. But I still want the product to function in a coherent way, and user settings should be respected as a baseline.

I have my copy through Steam and experience the same intermittent issue as well. The music plays more often than not, even with the slider at zero. Only ever during loading, and it finally mutes itself somewhere in the last 1/3 or 1/4 of loading (Which seems to about match the %'s given above).

Exactly the same here. Music plays every time, and stops about 75% through loading. On Steam as well.
