With the minor bugs acknowledged, I still think this aircraft is very good fun to fly! Just took her for a LGIR - LGAV (Athens) flight with FSEconomy passengers on board.
Just did that: please comment on this thread on the Ini forum: Fuel flow too low (lbh/kg issue?) - Systems - iniBuilds Forum
Is this 2020 or 2024? I was thinking about this setting:
As you can see mine is set to U.S, just wondering if itās set to anything else if that is making a difference or not ( this is 2024).
I have this set to Hybrid in 2024 as well. I changed it in flight, but that didnt make a difference. I might try to set it to US, then reload the sim and do a flight. If I find some time
This is my current fuel flow at idle:
And this is full power (Both on ground)
Standard fuel quantity seems to be 3,500lbs per tank:
Where has MS stated that the aircraft developers need to independently provide paint kits for Local Legends, Famous Flyers, or any other Microsoft-published product? Iām not saying they didnāt, just that Iāve never seen such a statement.
It would help in each aircraftās release blurb if someone would identify who is responsible for what.
While I agree, this isnāt the norm in the gaming world. When Call of Duty drops a new season, they donāt broadcast which developers made which maps or weapons. Flight sim is a bit of an odd-duck in that we have even the amount of transparency we currently have.
Does anyone know if updates for aircraft like this (local legends, etc.) are still tied to SU updates or can they be pushed independently now?
I believe itās a blend of both - many changes are dependent on/need to be tested with other changes to the sim, so they still tend to wait to push aircraft updates along with Sim Updates, but there have been exceptions to that.
Yeah, but COD usually does not need updates at the rate msfs 24 does. COD reuses weapon code. I have almost never had a problem with 1st person shooters.
Pretty certain updates will come independently as time permits, but as we all know due to this being marketplace it could be some time as updates needed to be tested for PC, Xbox, maybe PS5 now, and then align with a Tuesday or Thursday release schedule. So, they could theoretically work on fixes this week, test through 10 October, and then release the week of 13 October but I think thatās extremely quick and optimistic unless itās just a partial minor change log. Iād start looking in earnest for a comprehensive update by maybe the first full week of November.
I see now. On each engine, you have a main booster pump and an emergency booster pump. Itās the English translation on that original photo that tosses everything around to the point of confusion. We tend to read the words as being associated with the switch that theyāre closest to. My guess is that it would have been much clearer in the original Japanese, but not only can I not find any pics, I wouldnāt be able to read them if I did!
About an hour for my flights too. I canāt figure out whatās going on or why its happening on some flights and not others. Iām half thinking its some sort of keybinding or ghost keybinding bug (because it doesnāt happen anywhere else) and half thinking that Iām making a mistake somewhere that is both dumb and obvious but that Iām oblivious. Havenāt figured it out yet
Three new third-party repaints for both 2020 and 2024 are now available for the YS-11 as of a short time ago. Air Nippon, Japan Air Commuter, and Southwest Air Lines:

Currently flying and all of a sudden Iām getting the red low fuel pressure warning. I have no fuel pressure and no torque on the left engine, but RPM is normal. Iāve tried restarting it, but nothing. I donāt want to restart the whole journey since Iām on a big flight⦠Any ideas? Also, fuel pump switches are on.
Also, autopilot will put trim on 100% randomly⦠Iāve never had these glitches before and Iāve been flying this plane for a few days now!
Thank you, thatās helped me figure it out! I have another question; Do you leave the HPC levers at max during flight, or do you pull them back a bit like you would with rpm levers?
Dude, you pulled the fire lever for engine #1 . Push it back in and restart the engine.
For your other question, put the HPC levers back to the ON mark in all phases of flight except for takeoff, landing, and taxi, where you would put them full forward.
More liveries in now from JAviation for both models, now including American (Simmons), Hawaiian, and Japan Air System. Available on Flightsim.to.
I pointed out a prop hub difference with a few of them and they are aware, stating that the 2020 and 2024 models seem to be mapped slightly differently so more livery updates are coming. Overall though a bundle of new high quality repaints for the YS-11.
