Does anyone know of a good quality Lockheed C-130 for MSFS? All I can find is a model without a cockpit! Interesting concept, but I really would like a cockpit! I spent a lot of time in the Army flying around in C-130’s and to have one for MSFS would be a hoot. Thanks for your help!

Unfortunately no, the only model availed right now is the CS one, which as you know isn’t very good (no cockpit).
rumor is there is another dev who is creating one (with a cockpit). But release date is very unknown.
It’s still quite hush-hush, but it appears Blackbird Simulations are working on a C-130j

Not only that - a couple days ago Blackbird posted that they’re looking for active 130J pilots for beta testing. I hope this means it’s in final stages of production - or, on the contrary, they’re just starting to dive into the systems and seeking help from active pilots. In this case it means at the very least a couple months from now
Could be interesting if the developer figures out how to work around the simplified PT-6 type turboprop engine. Of course the Allison T-56 and all other engines used in the many variants of the C-130 are geared engines. The differences are significant and not easy to disguise. As a retired USAF vet myself, I’d love to see this airframe but I won’t touch it if the engines are not correctly simulated.
