LOD problems with 787 model

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

The LOD for the 787 with multiple liveries has very bad artifacts and unusual pop-in problems when moving the camera.

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

1. Load in 787 with house or korean livery (probably happens for all)
2. move camera around plane in chase or drone camera at various distances and zooms
3. Watch how parts of the plane have artifacts and certain panels change materials with different camera distances and zoom levels

Just updating to say this is still happening in the most recent sim beta (1.3.10.0)

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
MSFS v1.6.34.0 (SU4 just released), with updates to 787 fixing LOD and livery issues. However, the LOD fixes were incomplete, and created some new LOD problems:

• Landing gear doors appear a different color
• In the cabin, the passengers feel like they are about 20% larger than normal, heads all above the privacy barriers…

When viewing the plane from the drone camera:

• The plane doors disappear at a certain distance
• The right wing, then left wing disappear as you move away
• The contrails disappear when the wings disappear
• The cargo doors appear a different color
• The entire plane disappears when drone is not that far away
• (and in my opinion, the plane you are flying should never be fully culled from memory, and even if you can just see the contrail and nav lights from a distance, that should remain visible!!!

Doors disappear from a certain distance:

Wings disappear from a certain distance, and contrails too, very odd:

Cargo (from certain distance) and Landing Gear doors don’t match livery

Passengers are about 20% too large - heads are all above the privacy barriers (or maybe privacy barriers are too low?

Here’s another 787 LOD issue - at a certain distance, the BOEING logo covers the cargo door opening (note my screenshot is a crop of a larger screenshot taken from a bit further away.

It seems obvious that after a full year of waiting, the 787 got a very quick and superficial bit of work on the exterior model, but not very thorough, and as a Premium Deluxe plane, I expect better.

Also, the passenger doors can be open, but appear closed on the outside at certain distances. It’s really a mess.
