Log screen after engine shut down

Out of the blue I’m getting a flight log screen at the point I switch engine off. I can’t remember what all the options are: I think log flight, exit flight or continue. I never had this before. Anyone familiar with this and knows how to turn this off?

I think this appears only after parking at the designated spot (blue, then green square)
You can choose continue to do your after flight stuff.
Don’t think it can be turned off. But not sure

Yeah it’s super annoying and makes no sense to end the flight automatically :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

you can click “continue” to resume whatever you’re doing

I know but the screen shouldn’t come up at all. It’s only just started happening, no screen like this on engine shut down yesterday. I can’t find a setting to turn this off.

No it happens wherever you park. Just weird because it has only just started happening and I haven’t had an update

Yeah, it only appears to show up after you’ve parked when it has the blue/green squares as @AndiWreckit said. I’ve also had it pop up when I pulled up to a fuel station and had the parking grid show up. But just parking somewhere randomly, or on an airstrip without any kind of ground services you won’t get that screen. Thankfully just ending via the escape button still logs the flight.

“Continue” will basically start a new flight and logged separately.

I parked somewhere randomly and the screen still appeared after shut down

Hmm, dang. I don’t know then. I can only seem to get it when I park at a specific spot that the grounds crew says. I feel like it’s kind of bugged, like maybe it’s supposed to appear everytime, but just doesn’t always. I’m not sure.

What else is there to do after landing, taxi to parking and shutting down every system? Don’t tell me you use the drone cam and “walk” around and away from the airplane…

you use to have to do more than just shut down engine. in my experience you have to kill all power as well. APU, Ground, and generators

I like to float around like a avatar in a virtual world eating chocolate hob knobs. Whatever I do or don’t do after my flight, I shouldn’t be confronted with a screen congratulating me on a great flight.
