I got this game a few days ago. I plan on flying the world and want to track my progress. I noticed the logbook logged one of my shorter flights ground to ground but another one was not logged. Is there issues or did I mess up? My second flight my tires hit the grass right before the I landed in the runway is that why? Do I have to turn off my engine or something? Any tips or do you guys just log your flights manually? Thanks!
I’ve now found two ways a flight will not be be logged.

When you shut down at a parking spot, and power the aircraft off, it triggers that pop up screen where you get the choice of going back to the main menu, to end your flight, or continue. If you press “Continue” all previous flights during that session are forgotten. If you go to main menu, it will be logged. I used to do long flights where, due to potential crashes, I got in to the habit of doing a full stop landing, and parking up, then hitting Continue. Before Patch #3 these would log correctly. If you do that now, and say you had performed 10 of these park/shutdown/Continue operations, the first 9 legs will not be logged, only the journey between 9, and 10 will be logged.

Parking up an an airstrip with no parking spot, pulling off the runway, then shutting down, and simply exiting to the main menu used to log the flight as well. Now it does not. It seems you have to find a place to park so that the end of flight screen is triggered, then you must return to Main Menu.

Also, similar to your first point, if you do a full simulated PFL (practice forced landing) and you actually go through with it, turning off engine, power and fuel (Cut off, Pull of and Shut off for all you Missionary Bush Pilots out there) then once on the ground start up again then it only logs your flight once you take off.
