Logbook Slow to Open, 1.34.14.0

Brief description of the issue:

Opening Log book, takes me to the hanger but the logbook text is ghost and my previous flights are not shown and flight simulator becomes un-responsive to any input, but found if I go back into Windows, while Flight Sim Beta stays frozen open, if I open Flight Sim Console, my logbook populates all my flights and Logbook page and Flight Sim operates once again as normal. so far everything else works as it should.

Update! Logbook page populating and returning to normal and responsive to input seems to have nothing to do with ā€œConsoleā€ After a bit more testing it seems just to be a 30 second delay to populate a become responsive again. So when you open the log book, you see the ghost template but no flights logged and no response to any format of input, escape mouse etc, but Wait aprox. 30 seconds and logbook finalizes load to normal text and full flight population.

in my case the logbook page appears after 2-3 minutes (approx 2000 hours logged), meanwhile the sim is frozen and totally unresponsive

On opening logbook is empty and sim frozen for around 5 secs, while log getting loaded. Once loaded logbook menu runs with shutters. Around 500 hours with sim on m2 ssd.

When i open the logbook is emptyā€¦MSFS freeze and the only way for me is closing MSFS from TASK MANAGER

Im having the same issue on ms store version, I can open the logbook which is blank, it takes about 15 - 30 seconds for all the flight to show up, like its trying to find our account info

Restarted msfs after 1.34.14.0 initial install. My LogBook takes 58 seconds +/- 1 second, on every attempt. Repeatable: 5 msfs restarts + pc restarts = same issue. Some may call it ā€œfreezingā€. Mouse cursor is active but can not interact with any screen options nor can keyboard. Logbook IS recording flights & does open correctly after this time period. WGS file size= 4.96mb

I am seeing a load time of ~40 seconds before the logbook populates.

I want to add that I was seeing this issue in prior beta builds, so for me it is not an issue exclusive to 1.34.14.0.

Iā€™m seeing ~30 seconds to open the logbook, consistently since the first SU13 beta up to beta 1.34.14.0. Nothing in my community folder, and I donā€™t have a particularly large logbook on the sim version I run tests on.

For me it take much longer then 58 s. After 3 minutes, i have to close the flightsim per taskmanager

My logbook has been much slower to open since the first release of this beta. This was reported with the overall long load times topic, but not as a bug, so Iā€™m adding it to this bug report now.

Trying to open the logbook after a flight, the sim freezes before eventually showing the logbook after nearly four minutes. While itā€™s frozen, I canā€™t cancel the loading, exit the screen or anything at all - initially I thought it would never change, so I closed the sim via the task manager.

As others have reported, it takes a good while for the logbook to open, up to 3 minutes on occasions for me.

Hey quality assurance team, when you fix this will I get all my logged flights and hours back, or are they gone forever?
Also, as you merged this bug, is playing with the same profile on PC and xbox concurrently considered part of the issue and not recommended, or should that be OK?

This item has been reproduced and turned into an official bug report internally. This topic is now updated with the bug-logged tag. From here, Asobo prioritizes the bug, works on a fix, and slates it for a future update.

So this means the bug will not be fixed in SU13, although it manifests in the SU13 beta?

No improvement in 1.34.16.0.

I think they tried to fix the problem of simmers having their logbook wiped, but in doing so introduced this fault. Much like they ā€œcuredā€ the problem of aircraft taking an age to exit the runway by having them land (unrealistically) closer to the end of the runway.

As this is a new fault, it now goes to the back of the (still large) queue.

One step forward, one step back.

Updated to SU13 this morning (Public release) and immediately noticed logbook takes quite awhile to open

You can see a faint silhouette of it in the background

Problem is not fixed, since SU13 on 28 Sept my logbook takes a long time to appear. It appears to be blank with the words ā€˜No entriesā€™ at first then eventually, if you wait long enough, it appears.
