MSFS 2024 would not recognize my Logitech Multi-Panel. When I implemented the following solution, the multi-panel is now recognized but, so far the only usable functions are the trim wheel and the flaps. That is a step forward. I will be doing further testing. Transfer controls to msfs2024 - #8 by ToniGsxr600
Bascically if you donât have the exe.xml file in your MSFS 2024, just create one with the notepad with the code below
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><SimBase.Document Type=âSimConnectâ version=â1,0â>
SimConnect
SimConnect.xml
False
<Launch.Addon>
Logitech Microsoft Flight Simulator Plugin Steam
False
C:\Program Files\Logitech\Microsoft Flight Simulator Plugin\LogiMicrosoftFlightSimulator.exe
-r
False
</Launch.Addon>
</SimBase.Document>
For Steam user, the code above shou be at:
C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\
msfs-2020
Listen, this may sound silly, and it is, but my brand-new installed FLIGHT INSTRUMENT PANEL wasnât working!
I tried everything, including the Logitech website, which is a real horror (offering 32-bit drivers as a priority in 2025 or links that donât work).
Well, I tried everything, I donât know how many times, then, by relaunching âFlight_Instrument_Panel_x64_Drivers.exeâ all at once, the panels lit up, and since then, everything has worked on the instrument panel.
My configuration.
Software ------------------------
Flight Simulator 2020 latest version updated.

Windows 11 Professional Version 25H2

Asus TUF Gaming F17 2022 PC
USB hub is powered, connected to the Yoke or directly to the PC
I had a problem getting my radio panels to be recognized and light up, very frustrating. Worked with this issue for a long time and gave up. I followed all the previously mentioned recommendations and still had the issue. I then resolved to try Spad.next, but it was also frustrating for me, the programming part of it anyway. I decided to try the Logitech route once again. Luckily, I launched my program right after restarting my PC, and voila they lit up (I normally would have taken longer to start the program, so I might still be struggling with the problem if not for this). After a few minutes of working with the settings, the radio panels powered down and wouldnât come back. This lit a bulb in my tiny brain.
Microsoft automatically sets your USB power management to âAllow the computer to turn off this device to save powerâ in the Device Manager. Turn this option off for all your USB ports and Human Interface Devices, as soon as I deselected this option for all my USB ports and HIDs the problem resolved.
Hope this helps anyone still ripping their hair out over this issue.
