Logitech Flight Panel and Switch panel not recognized

I cannot get MSFS2024 to recognize my Logitech Multi and Switch panels. I have tried unplugging and repluging but both fail. The screen on the Multi panel will come on for about 2 seconds and then go blank. There is no response to either panel.

Does anybody out there have an idea about how to solve this issue?

Thanks!!

And I thought MSFS2020 was annoying!

Working there now. Thanks for the link.

I have since incorporated a solution developed by someone on the MSFS 2024 discussion board on Steam. I do not want to take MugHug’s work out of context, but search for those posts and you will see that a file called exe.xml created and pasted into the appropriate folder will solve the problem.

The Logitech Multi, Switch, and Radio panels do not use drivers. They use plugins that are, to quote Logitech, “game specific”. There does not appear to be a specific plugin yet for MSFS 2024. I encountered numerous problems and could not get the MSFS 2020 plugin to work in 2024. My understanding of MugHug’s work is that it causes MSFS 2024 to find and use the plugins. I may be wrong on that, but that is what it seems like it is doing.

Whatever it does, it does the job nicely.

For anyone new to Logitech panels, they haven’t worked “out of the box” prior to about 2009ish. Even FSX was not supported. Drivers haven’t been updated & programming software is ancient too, but haven’t looked lately tbh.
Logitech, formally Saitek, formally Mad Catz…
Actually, I think Madcatz bought it back once after selling it the first time, could be wrong though, been a long time…

HI !
I found a solution here :
