Can you use flight controls on Xbox one?

Microsoft confirms the standard Xbox controller, or a mouse and keyboard, will work with Microsoft Flight Simulator at launch. The title also plans to support select third-party accessories, including the Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas One, Thrustmaster T.Flight Rudder, and HORI HOTAS Flight Stick for Xbox One.3 days ago

Hi Folks: I’m a real newbie. Bought the Xbox X to race and fly. Bought the Alpha & Bravo expecting Honeycomb support. NOT! Also troubling to find MS & Asobo not really helping support big players like Logitech or CH, etc. As you know in the past a flick of a “PC” switch and one went from PC to Xbox. Given the huge demand for ‘real’ peripherals there’s room for every body. And the community benefits. Not to mention the benefit of competition. Hopefully companies with existing products
Logitech, CH and, yes, even Honeycomb will step forward. No room for ‘vapor ware’ like Turtle Beach & Honeycomb. Big opportunity for a ‘universal PC/Xbox hub.

Yes this is a bummer We bought the Logitech flight yoke that was compatible with PC not realizing it was incompatible with the seriesX. Plugged it in and doesn’t recognize it. My son has been really interested in getting into flying and now we have a setup that doesn’t work

I think this is a big miss and needs an update. People flying sims are going to want to use their yokes

Turtle beach

I hope that Microsoft / Asobo can work with Logitech to make the Logitech Flight yoke system compatible, I do miss this setup on my Xbox but also play on PC so I use it on there but if it also works on xbox at some point I be more then happy

I have a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke, The xbox needs a driver and before Xbox did say it would not work. They have to add it.

I have a Microsoft Force Feedback joystick, also have CH Products Flight Sim yoke andThrustmaster rudder pedals. Anyway to make any of these work to fly Flight Sim on XBox XS that I just bought? I find it very difficult to do anything with a game controller that young kids these days use. It almost makes me want to return my XBox game console. Very sad and frustrated and feel like going back to my PC and Flight Sim X. Any help would be great but using this game controller to fly is absolutely too hard

Been a while but really hoping that Microsoft and Asobo are working with hardware developers like Logitech to make this compatible on Xbox

I think it’s unlikely. Logitech is simply not active participant in the flight controller market, they are mostly just squatting on the old Saitek assets that they didn’t even design. An active participant like Honeycomb can offer a hub to interface PC controllers to XBox, but Logitech would first need to reactivate and partner up with Microsoft.
