i have the same problem with force 3dpro, its imposible to fly, i have tried everything but nothing works…i assume itgs a problem with msfs2020.
I also have the Logitech Force 3D Pro - it does not behave well, I have tried no logitech drivers, logitech (game drivers for multi accessories I think) and also paid for and used a software called XPForce and still all aircraft are nearly unflyable, I use the PXN 2113 joystick (which has unsupported forces in MSFS (no problem with FSX) but at least the PXN allows me to fly well … so far no luck with the Force 3D Pro which i ordered on Ebay because its no longer manufactured … I really hope Forcefeedback support comes back, properly …
Make sure you have this installed, and calibrate with it.
to calibrate. open profiler. then device / game controllers / properties / settings. you will find the calibrate button.
for axis x and y i am using.
sensitivity - -25
sensitivity+ -25
dead zone 15
neutral 0
i calibrate my Logitech Force 3D Pro before starting a flight in FS2020 and i don’t have any issue with response (never!), since Asobo provide the fix regarding sensitivity this joystick does work very well for me and i decided not to buy a new one!
In the meantime I found out it’s not the computer that is too slow it must be the software (FS), because I have tried the oldest joystick I could find which is an ESKY 0905A. That thing works great. There is no more lack in respnses. I could take off and land as smooth as with the old FSX. Glad I haven’t trashed that stick.
that’s not for the force 3d pro though right ? just regular ?
a win 10 driver for the force 3d does not exist. the one linked works.
I did use this at one point but the stick felt totally limp …(force 3d pro) - in the meantime i’m enjoying my pxn2113 without force feedback which it is capable in with fsx, however i’d have to uninstall the particular driver which makes the forces work, otherwise i can’t even open MSFS … it crashes to desktop until i uninstall the pxn driver that makes forcefeedback possible, and use a generic driver instead … a bit of a pain, so i’m finding myself going back to fsx with forces less often…
Version 1.11.6.0 the latest patch totally hosed my joystick settings. The profile was still there, but everything had changed. I finally got around to setting it back to my preferred button assignments, and the external camera view wont work. Setting it back to the default in the previous profile it don’t work. I have had it up to HERE, with this da***n game screwing up the way I setup my stuff. I am tired of things which should have worked perfectly from the launch still be broken. I am removing this junk off my desktop, and not playing it for 6 months. Come July I will try again, the frustrations are just more than I can go through any longer. Every patch screws up more than it fixes. IM DONE.
it can get annoying especially since it’s so time consuming to set up our sticks how we like … there really should be an option to save those, and know where that info gets saved, to back it up and then replace it again in the right folder if ever one had to reinstall or somehow gets their current controller profile deleted.
yes i did find that one as well, and even though it doesn’t specify windows 10 it did seem to work, was able to feel forces in the set up, but then it just didn’t work properly in the game, pretty much unflyable … i really hope good feedback support arrives !
I found the driver, with it no problem to calibrate and xpforce
where did you found it? i downloaded xpforce, but it only added force feedback, but axis mapping is still weird
where did you found it ?
I’ve found this joystick at a cheap price, should I get it ? Does it work after 2 years?
