I recently installed the new trackball to replace my mouse for future intended VR use and am having trouble assigning aircraft functions to the unit.
For starters the unit picture with numbered buttons/ controls does not show up in the MS Controls settings program under options where external controllers are set up. No problems with my other six external controllers, and one of them has 43 functions including 7 potentiometers, hat switches, buttons and levers. I only state this to show that I know how to use the controller assignments. All of my other controllers show up with pictures and buttons / levers numbered.
I have asked Logitech support for help previously with a general response that the unit is not sold for gaming but recently asked a more specific question similar to that above without a response yet.
I have seen a video on YouTube recommending this unit for VR and I can believe it’s advantages to mouse.
Any recommendations/ suggestions?
