I just recently purchased a Saitek Throttle Quadrant and have been experiencing issues with it not moving normally as it should be. When I moved the prop throttle up it starts to jitter then just goes all the way to rev on the TBM 930. Sorry if this information seems vague I’m new to using a throttle quadrant so I’m not 100% sure on how to explain it all correctly.
You have said you are new to the throttle quadrant (I have it too) so I thought I would mention a few things for you to consider. Some of these might seem a bit elementary so apologies for that but I thought I would mention them anyway.
have you calibrated it in Windows?
I use the default Windows driver and don’t use any saitek/logitech driver
What assignments have you set it up with in FS2020 control settings? I would look carefully at how you have set up the axis and buttons.
Do your other controllers use duplicate control settings? If so this could create a conflict.
Maybe try it in another PC USB port. It might prefer USB2 or USB3 or even powered. Can’t remember tbh but try switching it anyway to another port.
Has it ever worked properly or is this problem just very recently? It’s probably not faulty but I just thought I would throw this in the mix anyway.
Try other aircraft. If it works okay with those then maybe the TBM files have been corrupted.
Is the throttle stand alone or part of a bundle with the yoke. If the former it is a USB connection. If the latter it should be connected to the yoke.
I don’t fly in the TBM anymore but I can confirm that it is working for me in the PMDG DC6, Milviz Corsair, Stearman, Just Flight Piper Arrow Turbo, Cessna 152.
Been using MSFS since the start, been using Saitek since the start, my Throttle worked fine.
Since upgrading to 1.33.8.0, the throttle control in all A/c is going random. The other levers like mixture is working fine. disconnecting the throttle make no difference same issue on keyboard and mouse.
