I was on a group flight this weekend and was doing a cold start of the X-Cub using my home sim equipment (Logitech Switch Panel) and noticed that I was not able to get the X-Cub started when I switched the starter switch over. Doing some basic trouble shooting and from what I can tell, when you put the Switch Panel Starter over to ‘Start’ it does not hold the key over long enough in the X-Cub for the engine to fully catch and start. Was able to use mouse controls on the key in the X-Cub and it started just fine. Not sure if this is something that can be fixed in sim or if Logitech would need to make a driver fix.
I have a couple of planes with this issue. I have to hold the button down in the cockpit.
I use SPAD, and I don’t think it understands the concept of pressing, and holding a button.
I did look briefly, but didn’t get anywhere.
