Hi everone, I didn’t play for 3/4 months and when I’ve updated the game I noticed the throttle, when I start to fly doesn’t work at all. Strangely, when i move the throttle with mouse (in game, of course) the logitech start to work properly.
Any ideas? Months ago everything was working perfectly.
I did a recent required update to MSFS and had Saitek throttle issues right away. I found this link at the Saitek support website that makes changes quite easily to the registry. Just run the exe… Don’t overlook the instructions to enter the joy.cpl command. I did the 1st time and it didn’t fix the issue.
I haven’t flown in while on MSF too, and I have an issue with my throttle axis now. My default configuration used to work this way:
axis at 100: full throttle; axis at 0: engine to idle; one click all the way down (in the red zone) toggle reverse and my throttle axis would act as my reverse axis.
I believe this is a pretty standard configuration. But now (since sim update 5 I guess), my throttle axis is sort of split in half:
axis at 100: full throttle; axis at 25: engine to idle; axis at 0: full reverse. And the toggle switch all way down doesn’t work anymore, apart from setting the throttle quadrant in the sim to idle.
I tried different configurations, with the toggle switch and without, with the hold switch too, but none of these configurations are working like my “old” set-up.
I re-installed the Logitech drivers again, didn’t work…
My axis looks correctly configurated in the game according to the sliders in the menu.
I saw someone with the same problem on youtube in the comment section of a video…
Looks like a problem from the sim and not the configuration from my point of view.
I had yoke/throttle issues a year ago, and now I have them again. I have absolutely NO issues with the Saitek yoke/throttle in X-Plane 11, but with MSFS 2020, it has gone to hell again. Rudder pedals (CH pedals) are almost useless as well.
Dave… Follow the link I provided above … It did help with the throttle/prop/mix I was having. There are still underlying issues with the Saitek quadrant config because when I try to assign the buttons on the quadrant to a function, the validate assignment screen freezes the whole program with no way out other than closing the program. I haven’t had any issues with my Saitek rudder pedals but these are older pedals, before Logitech took over.
