Does anyone have the right stick and throttle calibration settings for this X56 I just bought? The throttle does not seem to be working right. I add full throttle, it shows about 56% thrust, and the aircraft behaves like it is still on the chocks. It wont roll (forward) in spite of brakes off and thrust applied. Yes the surface is flat. The X56 works fine for all other a/c and sims. But right now my new CRJ is dead in the water.
Did you calibrate the throttle using the EFB in the CRJ? My bet is you did something wrong. I have an X56 and it works fine.
You may have the throttle mapped to the wrong axis. Did you read the manual? The CRJ uses a different axis than other planes.
Yes. I dont want to use one throttle per engine. I would rather use one throttle for both engines. I also do not want a reverse thrust axis. Is this optional?
You don’t want to use one throttle for both engines unless you only have one throttle. There is an option for that. The reverse thrust is tricky. I assigned it to a button but it wasn’t an intuitive process.
I cant even find the X56 calibration app. Everything I have downloaded says it’s an incompatible version. Where is the X56 calibration tool/app? Im watching videos of some app but it certainly isnt whatever opens when I first plugged in the controllers.
I was confusing the throttle issue with the Thrustmaster TCA, but this may help
I believe that worked. Looks good so far. Thanks TBizzell! (and everyone else)
