Delete the rolling cache and set a new size (so it compiles). Then it works. At least for me.
Are you in the SU2 Beta? I’m in it and It seems fixed.
Okay I found what fixed it for me. The Zendesk in the Asobo or MSFS website under common problems has 3 solutions. I recommend following all of them to the t. It was weird had to reset my MSFS account startup in game. Also make sure the date and time is set current in your settings in Windows. I know it’s sounds stupid but mine wasnt synced.
Did that. But did not work 
They said they resolved the server issue permanently; they obviously lied!
I think after the launch of the recent software, the servers are getting overwhelmed again and cannot handle the traffic, thus, bigger airport are impossible to stream!

I have exactly the same now for about a week. Pick an airport (EBBR, EDLW, ESSA, …) click start flight, and the sim starts loading infinitely (or at least +8h, until I switched of the PC). I sometimes can press ESC to go back to the previous screen, but that frequently results in a crash to desktop. No amount of LOD changing or zooming in or out helps. Also tried with an empty community folder, no success. Tried changing the rolling cache size, repairing the installation, nothing works. Seems very much a case of overloaded servers (again).
Flying the Zibo 737-800 in X-Plane 11 for now, if things don’t get fixed by next weekend, I’m probably going to upgrade to X-Plane 12 and buy the Toliss A320.
Really disappointed by this, Microsoft and Asobo. 
Four days now and the servers are getting slower everyday. Have to wait 15 mins before I can even try a free flight. This is getting worse all the time.

I experience the same issue in MSFS2024 today. Flight wont load and sim wont shut down properly.
