Longitude Map Range control with PopOut MSFS-2024

When popping out the GTC to be used on a touchscreen (Ipad) the range control knobs at the bottom do not pop out. Therefore it can be more difficult to control range without going back to the original panel. Does anyone know if there is a keybind (I could not find one) to operate map range or perhaps a way to have the knob pop out with the touchscreen. Or any other suggestive way to make range control a part of something other than the GTC unit itself!

Thanks for any suggestions.

Use an Air Manager GTC overlay. Has the knob and button functions built in.

Has anyone found a working key binding for changing the Longitude’s map range while the GTC is popped out? It would be useful to know whether this function is tied to the 3D cockpit controls or can be assigned independently, especially for touchscreen setups.

I can tell you it’s assignable as an external control.

Good to know, thanks!

Do you happen to know the exact event or control assignment used for the GTC map range? That would be really helpful for anyone trying to map it to a physical encoder or an external touchscreen setup.

I really do not want to buy Air Manager just for 2 knobs… If there is another way to assign control (I would be happy with a simple keybind or two for zoom in/out) please share your knowledge with the rest of us!

Yes I know the exact events but I’m not at my pc to be able to get that info for you. It shouldn’t be hard to find.

I hope that means you will look/find it when you are back at your PC. Obviously I (and it looks like others..)are not able to find a easy fix for this. Looking forward to your sharing answers!
