I’d like a “Look to apex” toggle button, it’s pretty cool in racing sims and i think especially for VFR maneuvering (pattern flight) too. With Track IR and VR it’s relatively easy because you are doing it automatically but for hat switch users it would be a nice option to have. Eyes have to stay on the horizon but the head should be moving gradually with the amount of bank angle towards the turn. A runway padlock view toggle could be an alternative.
This is actually an excellent idea. A toggle button that could be mapped to a hat switch or other button on the yoke would make flying VFR way easier for non-VR players. When I am flying a VFR traffic pattern, I am constantly using quickviews and freelook to simply “look to apex”. This reminds me of this sort of function in Forza Horizon which is absolutely necessary for drifting from the cockpit view.
