MSFS2020 could learn a thing or two about usable ATC and autopilots from that sim. I know the included planes weren’t perfect but they flew easily and ATC would actually give you sane altitudes and vectors. And all the basic autopilot switches and knobs were easy to use… (and the 2d panels were very flyable.)
And don’t get me started on the “W” key! .

Unfortunately, Win 10 computers won’t run FS2004…

Oh! How I miss that Illinois (and LA) chart! That actually taught me how to radio navigate!

The first Learjet… Missed the first Cessna floatplane and Beech Starship… Sweet memories of the first 737 and… Oh, the DC-3 and the Concorde!

I have a couple of Combat Flight Simulators lying around here somewhere… Only the ones that matter (1 and 3).

Yes, keep em. Looking for another copy of FSX just so I never lose mine. Wish still had FS-98 my first one, oh the days of setting up flight and actually having good interaction with ATC and the flight plan exacutes exactly as planed, and ATC and me get along, and the ILS works, oh the days I spent having fun. Now all I most do is xxxx it. Although, DC Designs F-14 is restoring my belief that good planes can be produced and put into this sim. Destroyer121 has a ok C-17 freeware. If all you want to do is fly around, no navigation, but it’s not bad for free.

Wow.. do you still have those A: and B: drive to load those disks?

Yep, still have mine.

Still have mine as well. Some say FS2004 was the last FS that worked :joy:
