Looking for Input on Rudder Pedal Hardware

I have been using MS flightSim since before FAS9 and never used anything external controllers except a joystick, now using the Logitec Extreme Pro since fx10. Now considering an upgrade to the Logitec 945 yoke/throttle package which is a classical complement but have some concerns. If I give the joystick, I won’t have anyway to control yaw, or rudder during flight or landings and takeoffs. So it seems rudder pedals are going to be essential.

1)Since Logitec pedals have been out for a long time, are there any issues that have plagued these from working without moving part replacements (if one could even get them) since these are cheap, even used ones in working condition. Are there othe alternatives that would work better without a steep increase in price?

  1. I also noticed that the rudder action in the Logetic pedals is tied to a radius when moving them and not a straight push as in real world flight, does this not defeat the purpose in attempting to reproduce “actual” flight controls?

Thanks indeed.

Much better quality than any Logitech stuff. Had these for 5 years now and not a single problem to date.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding you but they are pushing forward and backwards as in the real world. I’m quite happy with them, especially at the price.
