What is the name of the file that enables me to avoid this screen by pointing to the directory where the sim allready has this update installed?
This is not the same update. The release notes are the same, but this is a new minor update (probably to update AIRAC data)
612 Gb to update AIRAC…It is the same file and the file I was looking for is:
UserCfg.opt
the AIRAC update was 1GB (well, actually, the package that contains the AIRAC data is 1GB), and the game is around 100GB in total, if you are downloading 612GB there is a serious issue on your end 
It says 611.76GiB AVAILABLE on your drive… the 1,021.82MB is the size of the download.
