Losing controller sensitivity settings about once a day (Xbox One Elite)

Hi all! I’m playing with an Xbox One Elite controller. Aside from the known rudder problem, this is working pretty well except that I have to customize the response curve on the left stick because there’s some “give” around neutral that the sensor picks up and dutifully passes through to the airplane.

I set a dead zone of 20%, and sentivity of -33% in both directions, and am reasonably happy with this so far.

However about once a day, the sensitivity settings are spontaneously reset to the defaults. I discover this by flying and thinking “gosh it must be a windy day” but the wind is 3 knots, and I check the controller settings and it’s back to a linear response curve.

It’s not hard to set it again, but this is pretty worrying. I’ve reported it to Zendesk, just wondering if anyone else is encountering this and has any recommendations or experience working around the bug.

Have fun flying, all!

I have the same issue, have reported as well on zendesk.

I’ve narrowed it down a little – it always happens if I start FS when the controller is off, but not when the controller is on during startup. If the controller turns off later during play it’s fine, but being off at startup seems to kill the sensitivity settings.

Yes I’ve had that experience too.
