Loss of Control after Landing - Cirrus SF50

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

When flying the Cirrus SF50 in Career Mode, after landing (while taxiing) the aircraft stops recognizing input from any of the controllers.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:

Cirrus SF50.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

Yes

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Roughly 2/3rds of the time that I’ve flowing the aircraft, following the last patch.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Fly a Career Mission
  2. Safely land at an airport. Often I can make it to the ‘Hold Short’ point after landing.
  3. Attempt to taxi - tonight, the brakes would release, until they did. The tiller input wouldn’t work, nor would the rudder pedals. I was able to stop the plane only by applying the Parking Brake. It did not seem to recognize any axis input.

Last night, it wouldn’t recognize the controller immediately after landing, causing the SF-50 to go off the runway and incur a mission penalty.

  1. Confirmed Autopilot and Auto-throttle had been disconnected.
  2. After a random time (10-60 seconds) control returns.

I thought it was the Cirrus, but it has also happened in the PC-12 for me. I’ll try to add that to the tag.

The root issue appears to be interaction with ATC. When I interact with ATC (for example, announcing Final) the aircraft stops responding to controls at that time - during and shortly after the communication interaction.

It may be an unexpected interaction between the ATC system and flight controls.

I have the same problem in the Pilatus PC 24. If I jump, I can no longer control the plane after landing. Disaster.
