Hi all,
Lately I’ve been experiencing loss of keyboard and mouse input. It happens every second/third flight and seems to be triggered by changing view (via the camera menu or keyboard shortcut) or clicking a knob in the cockpit. Strangely, I still retain control of the yoke and throttle quadrant.
The loss of keyboard and mouse control means I cannot click anything in the cockpit, back out to the menu or open any other windows, so the resize menu fix doesn’t work here. However, I am still able to hit the windows key and use my mouse and keyboard normally on the OS/other programs.
Unfortunately, this bug seems to be terminal (although I sometimes regain control for 10 seconds) and thus, requires me to shutdown the game which is quite annoying when you’re on approach…
I was wondering if anyone has experienced this issue and if there’s a fix?

Sounds similar to the known issue of window losing focus, if you can open the nav map and drag the window slighly around the screen and then see if you can click on your instruments again.
See that part of the post. I can’t open any windows (nav map, atc, etc) as I have no control of the keyboard or mouse.
Not sure if this issue was fixed or found a resolution. I just did a 3hr flight and during the descent, I heard a slight audio “crunch” then lost mouse and keyboard functionality. My joystick still worked and thankfully I had throttle, flaps, and landing gear binded to buttons or that would have been a waste.
I tried CTRL-TAB, I tried task manager. While in MSFS, no buttons work so I can’t even pause the game or use my stream deck to issue commands (since they’re keyboard binded buttons.)
Been playing since MSFS came out, this is the first time it happened to me. I have no idea how to replicate it or bring it back. Once I could park the plane, at least ALT-F4 still worked.

The same happened to me today. Flying the A2A Comanche, after 40min in flight and during the approach the mouse and keyboard became completely unresponsive (windows and browser still working). This is the first time that this happened. I dont know if it is relevant but I was switching between windows ( browser, littlenavmap, MSFS ) during the flight.

Ive had this exact issue sporadically for a long time, but somehow it only ever happens when I’m flying the Honda Jet. It’s so strange, no one can seem to help. Sometimes I eventually get control back, othertimes no. It’s so bizarre the way the keyboard doesn’t work for anything in game, yet alt-F4 still works
