Description of the issue: All of a sudden the axis that are set to the moveable throttle/flap/spoiler/condition levels on my Turtle Beach Velocity One Flight Stick will go totally unresponsive, and it will only come back when I unplug and replug my flight stick. When this happens I check the controls configuration and the throttle and spoiler/flap/condition axis is still correctly bound with no conflicts, the stick is still seen in peripherals, and the assigned axis is visible and with normal response with checked in calibration in the sim.
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
Every single flight, regardless of aircraft used.
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
Start any flight with any aircraft using the Turrtle Beach VelocityOne Flight Stick
Note that any axis bound to the side sliding controllers will go unresponsive after several minutes during the flight - only to be resolved with unplugging and re-plugging the device. This will occur over and over again
Most notable during engine start / push back, take-off, and landing when clearing runway.
What peripherals are you using:
[PC Only] No.
[PC Only] What GPU (Graphics Card) do you use? 5080
Sorry to hear you’re having issues.
Is this something that’s started recently or have you just started using the V1 Flight Stick?
I’m on Xbox X and I’ve been using the Velocity One Flight Stick for a couple of years. I haven’t encountered the issue you’ve described at all during that time. Many different a/c on 2020 and 2024.
Never occurred while using the V1 on the Xbox. Happened starting the end of SU4 in MSFS 2024 on PC, (never occurred in MSFS 2020), occurring multiple times per flight with SU5 now.
Confirmed still happening in SU5. Takeoff from runway with the PC12 and instant loss of throttle response on climb. Only fixed with unplugging the stick and plugging it back in again. This is a game breaking issue.
I have had this issue some month ago and solved it by switching the USB port to a different one direct at the mainboard and not a non powered USB hub. Hope that helps.
