ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Im getting lots of pink/missing/corrupted textures after installing the latest update. I have no mods or anything other then the vanilla game installed.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? I dont have any installed, but I even tried deleting the game and re-installing it as well as deleting the microsoft.limitless folder from within the users/username/appdata etc etc etc to force it to re-download everthing. Nothing has seemed to work.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Every time on sim load, and usually in the same places too.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Load the game
  2. Do a free flight in hot air ballon with motor over the washington monument
  3. Look around and notice lots of pink missing textures on buildings, Such as the India museum or something India if I recall thats nearby.

What peripherals are you using, if relevant: PC installed from MS Store.

[PC Only] Are you using Developer Mode or have you made any changes to it? no

[PC, MSFS 2020 Only] Are you using DX11 or DX12? dx12

[PC Only] Many issues may be due to an outdated graphics card. Please state your Graphics Card Driver Manufacturer (NVIDIA, Intel, AMD) and Version: NVidia 4090 up to date drivers.

[PC Only] What other relevant PC specs can you share? I9 13900K, Asus TUFF 4090, ASUS Tuff z790 plus wifi MB, 96gb DDR5 @6800, game is installed on my C:\ drive that is a 2tb samsung 980 pro NVME with 900GB free

Absolute same problem. Drives me crazy. I havent found a fix and it makes me want to just throw this sim in the trash. Any luck on a solution?

Admin could you maybe merge all the NZ POI missing textures reports into one? Or maybe it’s a global issue and reports from other countries need to be merged into one too?

same for the tiwai smelter… screenshot attached in the cessna because its the only aircraft that seems to work without lag, missing textures or missing sounds… does anything actually work in this game?

It appears POI’s around the world are affected by this. I’ve reported several others in NZ already:

I also noted St Peter’s Basilica in Venice has the same pink textures.
