just got a loupedeck and managed to get this profile working easily (liking it so far…) - but have also been trying to get some other non loupedeck market place profiles from .to working - link below (but been unsuccessful so far) - seems to give me an import profile option in loupedeck software but then requires me to associate the flightsimulator.exe with the profile (when I take it to the .exe does not seem to accept it)- any ideas on how to get it working?
Some peoplesoft have recommended creating a new shortcut on the desktop and renaming it as flightsimulator.exe and then associating that with the profile. Something to do with encryption on the original exe file.
Hi. Thank you so much for this excellent MSFS plugin for LoupeDeck. Most of the functions seem to work well, however I am having some problems with the following in v2.3.0.
Aircraft = C172 Classic
Parking Brakes - the indicator works (when toggled via the sim), however pressing the button appears to do nothing.
Pedestral Light - doesn’t appear to work.
CabinLight - doesn’t appear to work either. I think these require a “SET” event rather than a value change.
Instrument Lights - works, but you need to set Light Potentiometer 3 to 100 otherwise, if the lights are turned down, they don’t illuminate on the button press

Yes. As long as it is named as flightsimulator.exe it should work.
seemed to have got it working my messing around with the short cut! (but it appears as ace (MSFS)!
can see there are some view pages within the profile - any idea how you can access them and what planes do you find this one works best with?
Would the Loupedeck S work with this and still have all the functionality, just have less available controls per page? I can not only save a few bucks but get one much faster if so & upgrade to the live later. I’ve been searching for the answer and watching videos on the S and live and can’t tell if the live is a larger version with more immediate tools or it does things the S could not do. I don’t stream or edit so would be using it nearly exclusively for MSFS, although I will explore its potential for productivity and other apps as well.

Hello and I feel (or felt) your pain until last week when I found MSFS MCA here: MSFS Mobile Companion App
This app has made flying so much more fun and less frustrating that I’m flying 2-3 times as much. You can use with your phone or tablet and change any AP function with multiple button presses or direct entry (so change heading a degree at a time or just type in the new heading, same with VS, altitude, etc) can change coms and nav and transponder with phone or tablet, flaps, gear, see live map, and more. It’s incredible and cheaper than buying a new device at the unbeatable price of free. Unfortunately, some concern it’s not being updated anymore & some android tablet users appear to have issues recently. I donated both because I would have (and will) spend money to do what this app does & with nearly 47k downloads I hope the author comes back or lets someone take over. It’s almost too good to be true imho & inspired me to pick up a refurbished iPad to use it.
I want a physical knob & buttons so will get a Loupedeck Live or S if the S has similar functions because it’s less expensive & I don’t need editing or streaming level of controls. I’ll be getting it as a luxury option though and not essential because I heard about and started using MSFS MCA. I have no stake or relationship at all with the app, just sharing it since you sound exactly like I did before I found it. It’s super easy to set up too with no need to buy anything. I sent a donation though because it’s been so helpful. Good luck fellow pilot!

I am making specific folders for the S to limit encoders / pages.
The 2.4 release should be well compatible with the S as I received mine so I can test it better

This is a lovely plugin and I bought the Loupedeck Live simply for sim to use with this. But for some reason, it does not work on FBW320. Or may be I am missing a step in the setup. I use the PC version bought from store, any help would be much appreciated

For now the plugin use low level events with SimConnect only which works well with default aircraft.
But it is limited and I need to add a WASM to allow more controls with custom aircraft : it is planned it needs more time. (as well as G1000)

ahh got it and this is great to know. I noticed that the inputs do get registered partly in FBW, but on the flight display, not in the heading indicator. Light controls work flawlessly though.

Get it. I have both, Just got the LoupeDeck for Christmas, but I’ve had the Stream Deck for about a year. As I learn how to use the LoupeDeck some of the functions I have on the Stream Deck will be migrated over or already exist with the plugin. But even with the LoupeDeck, I will continue to use the Stream Deck.
I got my LoupeDeck, I think, Black Friday when it was on sale for $229. I bought as a Christmas present to myself and was very good and I didn’t open it until yesterday.
Really glad I got it, it will make flying so much more fun!
Yup, got one a while back and now run both Loupedeck Live and Streamdeck Plus. Both great devices.

It would be great when we can share Infos of config for the different aircraft.
It can help other users to use this great tool, also together with SpadNexr.
I have a Loopedeck Live since yesterday and found out via Simhanger about this wounderful plugin.
With your plugin some touch buttons seems to be assigned with multiple states icons (Green bar/red bar icon in same touch button)
Is there an option/way that I can change some of those multiple state icons with my own icons?
In Loopedeck I can only assign one state icon to a touch button. But I can’t find an option to assign multiple icons for the on/off state.
