I don’t know what a Tesla card is, but… with your CPU and your GPU, depending on your settings, you may have issues. I’d try lowering the settings? I have a 6GB video card, but it’s an RTX 2060 and I have more powerful CPU, so mine works much smoother. 30-40 FPS on High End right now. Usually run Ultra (pre SU3)
Sorry to say, but your CPU is terrible for MSFS (as you can see from the FPS meter, 77.1ms Main thread limitation).
Dropping your settings might help a bit, but don’t expect any amazing results, since most settings affect mostly the GPU load. Not the CPU.
Actually it could be from a bad cpu or it could be related to the frame rate issue going on right now. Most of us are getting low (10-15 fps) even with top of the line equipment. Like I have an RTX 3090 with a ryzen r9 3900x and I’m getting 11 fps. Meanwhile someone with an RTX 2060 is getting 50 fps.
Wait until they fix the fps bug. If you’re still getting fps issues then, then you need to upgrade your cpu probably.
You’re talking about ‘minimum’ requirements.
This means the absolute minimum required to run the sim. You’re not going to get high FPS, not even on 1080p.
A Xeon is a server CPU, and runs at relatively low clockspeeds. That’s why it suffers in the ‘main thread’ department (which requires fast single core performance).
If you want ‘high fps’ (for a given random value of ‘high’) you’re going to need specs higher than the ‘recommended’ from the list.
Your GPU is an odd one, it’s a server GPU intended for virtual desktops (intended to run a couple of CAD workstations). I have no clue what you can expect out of that for a regular pc.
In general, one should select their hardware based on the workload they’re going to run. You’ve got server hardware, intended to run heavy productivity workloads.
This sim (and any other game at that) don’t really fall in that category.
