In my case dropping down to 1440p w/o DLSS and letting my TV do the AI upscaling allows me to also raise my T-LOD to ~300. What is most interesting is that my system runs best with my monitor @60hz, MSFS vsync on at 30fps and rendering at full 4k with all settings at ultra and T-LOD at 300 I like hardly ever get a studder over 500ft. It’s like my PC goes into total zen mode and everything is buttery smooth. If I turn on DLSS, it becomes a studdering mess and sometimes crashes (on SU9).
That’s fair enough if you believe it’s better, I’m not even sure AMD’s DLSS (equivalent) works exactly the same as Nvidia’s anyway.
This has definitely had the biggest impact so far, up to around 35-40, still not where we realistically should be but improvement. Seem to be capped at 40 now, however.
Good progress indeed but still room for improvement! Can you disable your anti-virus program next to make sure it’s not interfering with anything.
Also, what are your internet speeds up/down with a speed test?
