With 1.12.13.0 I noticed much more, that the main-menu cause 100% GPU load to reach e.g. 75fps vsync in 3840x1600.
Note: I’am not sure whether 1.12.13.0 made the issue more worst.
Reason seems the real-time rendering of that “useless” background hangar.
On the Earth-View there is not such a 100% load.
This issue was already mentioned and closed within e.g. the general category. But I would report it now as an issue. It is not normal to let users GPUs run at full load in the main-menue - GPUs which in meanwhile consume 200-400W.
I also assume that some issues around “ctd on main-menue” have the reason in this point.
Thus: the background hangar rendering should be disabled or at least implemented in such a way, that it not bring each kind of GPUs at here limits.
Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:
VSYNC 60 setting : 75 FPS in my case
VSYNC 60 setting : 75 FPS in my case : Earth
Effect with limit the fps from normal 75fps to 37fps:
VSYNC 30 setting : 37 FPS in my case
NOTE: because of the VSYNC Bug these setting is not usefull. It is IN-GAME then 25FPS in my case.
